A 30 ans, fatigué par le stress de la capitale, ToiNou se retire sur la Côte d’Opale. Proche de la mer, dans la forêt, il se ressource et cherche à redonner un sens à sa vie. Il ressort ses guitares, juste pour le plaisir. Il commence alors à chanter et écrit ses premiers textes. C’est de cette expérience, de ce changement de vie dont il parlait dans son premier album « Transition Balnéaire ».

Il revient 5 mois plus tard avec un nouvel album plus électrique; « Cachets Nocturnes ». Composé principalement à partir d’un synthétiseur, ce nouvel opus laisse toujours une belle part aux envolées mélodiques de sa Stratocaster et à sa poésie si particulière.

En 2020, il publie « Peintures Sonores » dans un style musical très personnel où les textes oscillent entre mélancolie et surréalisme mais poussent toujours à l’introspection, au rêve et à la croissance.

En 2021, après un déménagement en Bretagne, il revient plus inspiré et prolifique que jamais et sort 2 projets purement instrumentaux (« Happy Deers » et « Sleeping whales« ) ainsi qu’un album de chansons à textes (« Plaisir & Bonheur« ).

At 30, tired of his job as consultant, ToiNou left Paris for the Opal Coast (French North Coast). Near the sea, in the forest, he can breathe again and seeks to give meaning to his life. He plays guitar everyday, like when he was teenager, just to have fun.
After a few months it’s clear for him, he’ll be a musician. He starts singing and writes his first songs.
It is this experience, this complete lifestyle change that he described in his first album « Transition Balnéaire » (Seaside Transition 😎).

Five months later, he is back with his sophomore record, a more electric one; « Cachets Nocturnes » (Nocturnal pills).
Mostly written with a synthesizer, this album still gives a major role to both the melodic flights of his Stratocaster and his so special poetry.
Oscillating between melancholy and surrealism, his lyrics foster introspection, dreams and growth.

After three albums sung in French published in 2019 & 2020 and a move to Brittany, he is back in 2021 with 2 instrumental projects (« Happy Deers » & « Sleeping whales« ) and a new album (« Plaisir & Bonheur« ).

Both instrumental albums share a LoFi vibe with lots of electric guitar. « Happy Deers » is a morning EP that mixes melancholia & Nostalgia with hopefulness and joy. « Wailing whales » is a night album to escape and dream which focus is on  hypnotizing melodies & relaxing sounds.
